Goggles can be used for a variety of reasons from providing comfort for recreational swimming to competitive events.
Competition Goggles
Competition goggles should fit close to the eye socket. They are designed for racing and can be uncomfortable for pleasure swimming or every-day use. Some swimmers may choose to use competitive goggles during swim practices also.
Practice Goggles
High-quality practice goggles are required since they will be worn frequently and for much longer durations than a competitive goggle. These goggles typically have more gasket rubber which creates less pressure against the eye, while still providing a tight seal.
Recreational Goggles
At Swim n Things, we still recommend that you choose a comfortable, well-fitting goggle even if you are just using them for recreational purposes. Our friendly staff will fit you and help you select just the right goggles!
